Responsibilities
Staff Recruitment and Selection
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire qualified candidates.
- Conduct job interviews and ensure a fair and unbiased selection process.
- Attend job fairs, networking events and related awards and student recruitment activities.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs.
Employee Relations:
- Manage employee relations by addressing concerns, conflicts, and grievances.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Conduct investigations into employee issues and recommend appropriate resolutions.
Performance Management:
- Develop and implement performance management systems.
- Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans and employee development.
- Conduct performance reviews and facilitate goal-setting processes.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate the development of training programs.
- Oversee employee development initiatives to enhance skills and competencies.
- Support career development and succession planning.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Administer compensation and benefits programs.
- Conduct market research to ensure competitive salary and benefits packages.
- Manage payroll processes and ensure compliance with regulations.
HR Policies and Compliance:
- Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on labor laws and ensure organizational compliance.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure HR practices align with legal requirements.
Employee Engagement:
- Foster a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.
- Organize employee events, activities, and recognition programs.
- Implement surveys to gather feedback and assess employee satisfaction.
HR Information Systems:
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of HRIS (Human Resource Information System).
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CHRP designation is preferred
Experience
- Minimum 5 years in human resources roles, with a focus on management.
- Demonstrated experience in recruitment, employee relations, and HR strategy.
Communication Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
Problem-Solving Skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
